Playing throughout his youth for both school and village club teams; his Saturdays where filled with several matches. After his misson in Australia, Roebeck played club rugby there for a time. He attended BYU-Hawaii and played for the school club. After moving to Portland, Roebeck played for several of the area men's teams before settling into coaching Eastside Tsunami HS Club. From there, he play for the Portland Avalanche (06-07) and Portland Pigs (07-08) clubs He took brief hiatus from playing and shifted his focus to coaching, where he began assisting with Eastside Tsunami HS Club.
